Matt is the twice-elected City Councillor for Orléans East – Cumberland and a combat veteran of the war in Afghanistan. For the last four years, Matt has been a relentless advocate of intellectual freedom in his role as Chair of the Ottawa Public Library Board and has been instrumental in the support of veterans in the National Capital Region as Co-Chair of the Ottawa Veterans Task Force. Locally, he is a champion for robust business and economic development in Orléans.
